TIRANA, Jan 13 /ATA/ As part of Sustainable Development Week in Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the “Zayed” Award ceremony, which recognizes humanitarian initiatives from those contributing to developing countries.
The awards were presented to projects and organizations that have contributed to the advancement of education, the provision of clean drinking water, food aid for underserved communities, and efforts to combat climate change and protect the environment.
Prime Minister Rama is currently in the United Arab Emirates, attending the Sustainable Development Week summit, which is held under the auspices of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Head of Government is attending this event at the invitation of the President of the UAE.
This international forum brings together heads of state and government, business leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss the challenges and prospects of sustainable development on a global scale.
